Dr Marjani Orchery is a multi award-winning clinician, with dual qualifications as both a Medical Doctor and Dentist.

Background and Training

Marjani qualified as a dentist from the Dental Institute at King’s College London. She was awarded her medical degree from the University of Southampton.

Through years of dedicated study clinical experience and research, Marjani has acquired a deep understanding of the healthcare. She combines clinical insight with an understanding of the wider systems and social factors that influence health outcomes.

Health Equity Focus

With a passion for community-based initiatives, Marjani is committed to improving health equity for all. She is also the founder of SMILEquity, dedicated to delivering oral health education and bridging the gap between communities and accessible health education.

Her work explores how community engagement, prevention and culturally informed healthcare communication can help address persistent health inequalities.
